Jamaican Band Makes Comeback to Heritage Fest
Ainsworth Rose, originally known for his reggae performances as the Jamaican One-Man Band, returns to the Heritage Festival. Rose and the Sunshine Reggae Band will perform Saturday, August 30, 6:00 – 7:00 p.m., at Veterans Memorial Park, 160th Place and South Park Avenue.
The annual Heritage Festival “Saturday in the Park” event is a day of family-friendly activities.
In addition to the band performance, highlights of the day (August 30) include: car show, bocce tournament, kids garage sale, face painting and balloon twisting, climbing wall, rolling video games, bounce house, and the talented Jesse White Tumblers. The day closes with a “Movie in the Park,” featuring Frozen.
