Neighbors showed their seasonal cheer by decorating their home and neighborhood to demonstrate the best and brightest holiday spirit in South Holland. Judging for the Holiday Neighborhood Decorating and Spirit Contest took place on Saturday, December 20. Winning entrants, who will be featured in the South Holland Today, are as follows:

• First Place: Wayne & Louevina Brown, 170th and Paxton Avenue
• Second Place: Will & Lillie Hull, 170th and Paxton Avenue
• Third Place: Ed Braasch, East 156th Street

It’s never too early to start planning for the 2015 Holiday Neighborhood Decorating and Spirit Contest. The entry form will be available late fall.
