The South Holland Fire Department will be conducting fire hydrant inspections and testing throughout the summer.

These inspections and tests will take place Monday through Friday during the hours of 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

During the testing process, residents may experience discoloration of water due to the disturbing of the natural sediments in the pipeline. This does not contaminate your water. Some cloudiness of tap water is normal while conducting hydrant flow testing, and it will quickly subside. We are making every effort to keep this to a minimum.
