South Holland Community Center
501 E 170th Street
Because communication is the very essence of our strength as a Village government, morning and evening Mayor’s Coffees are held quarterly at the Community Center.
This is to provide an informal opportunity for residents to meet with Mayor Don De Graff and other Village officials to ask questions and share comments and concerns.
General questions and comments are always welcome at Mayor’s Coffee. The meeting is open to the public.
Special Guest: Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP)
On June 20, the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP) returns to the Mayor’s Coffee to present their proposed comprehensive plan for our community.
As originally reported at the December 13, 2016 Mayor’s Coffee event, the Village of South Holland was awarded a Local Technical Assistance Grant by The Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP) to develop a Comprehensive Plan for our Village. A comprehensive plan is a written document formally adopted by the Village Board of Trustees that contains goals, objectives and strategies for the future development and conservation of the community. As the name suggests, the plan will be complete, thorough, and will build on the already established Vision 2022 plan, but encompassing broader elements and a longer period of time.
