Rental Moratorium in Effect

In a commitment to protect South Holland’s home values and our community values, the Village board has placed a six-month moratorium on the issuance of licenses to rent out a home. During this time, the administration will analyze the data on rental properties versus owner-occupied properties and the respective toll taken on municipal resources (property maintenance issues, police calls, etc.). Once all of the data is gathered, a recommendation will be made to the board as to how to move forward.
