The MFT (Motor Fuel Tax) Street Resurfacing Program will start in late spring and include the following streets:

• 161st Street from South Park to 600 East
• 166th Place between Greenwood and Woodlawn Avenue
• Woodlawn Avenue between 166th Place and 167th Street
• Woodlawn Court south of 166th Place
• Greenwood Avenue between 166th Street and 166th Place
• 157th Street between State Street and Calumet Drive
• 163rd Street between Greenwood Avenue and Woodlawn East Avenue
• Wabash Avenue Alley West from 151st Street north to Dead End

Additionally, a special water main project on 161st Place will be underway in mid-June. The water main and its service lines will be replaced between 420 East 161st Place to School Street. Catch basins will be rebuilt, pavement foundations will be restored, and the road will be resurfaced to complete and finalize project.

Restoration from this past winters broken water mains and other repairs will be ongoing this spring and summer.
